Recently my family and I have been on researching dogs to get as we
feel like our family is 'incomplete.' My mother although only wants a
small dog that preferable doesn't shed hair and can handle hotter more
tropical temperatures.
I have said that I would have liked a medium
sized dog preferable a shiba inu as they make funny, cute and social
pets.
Although she tells me the dog breed is too high in height. We had
beforehand a Bichon Frise and she was quite a quiet dog with a happy
attitude. I was hoping for something more bubbly and active that was in
the budget of $200-$1200. I also was looking for distinct beautiful
markings & facial looks.
No one is allergic to anything in our home
but we have 2 cats that get along with dogs really well. Although myself
wanting a shiba inu won't do me good as there is no breeders with
puppies in australia at the moment. I was just trying to get a helping
hand with which way to go on getting a dog.

Lakelady:
OK, so we're kinda stuck on size, we need a hot-weather dog, a low
shedder and one that's happy but not crazy. OK, how about a lakeland
terrier? Small dog, big dog attitude, lots of fun, energetic and very
affectionate. Or try for an airedale, no shed and "hey mom, it's a
terrier, how big can it be?" *lol* You LIVE in Australia, get an
Australian cattle dog or shepherd. They're not that big. No idea on the
shedding though. A whippet would be PERFECT but if you can't find a
Shiba, you will never find a whippet.

You already have your mom so that's enough.
