So my brothers girlfriend came to stay with her dog and she left while i
was at school to go back to west virginia and i didn't know and didn't
get to say bye. i got so used to the dog being around that it's so weird
going to bed without her. ive been crying on and off all day. i think
i'll see her again soon but im not used to not having her around now so
how do i deal with not having the dog around?

Talk to your brothers girlfriend and ask her to stay in touch, maybe she has an Instagram for her dog (or could start one?)
Then start to learn about how to keep dogs because it sounds like you'd like one in the future.
