Anonymous: First thing, ignore anonymous on the whole 'outdoor cats are going to be the death of the human race' because lets face it, its bullsh!t. An outdoor cat is a happier cat,it's unnatural for them to be kept indoors, the only exception being an older cat who has been indoor all its life.
Okay though, back to your question. You cat is used to being allowed out your room so when you start keeping her inside your room at night she doesn't understand why therefore she is asking to be allowed back outside your room which is fair enough. It's fairly simple and natural.
Your best bet is to leave your door slightly open so your cat has a choice to stay in your room or let her out. Personally my cats come into my room about 9ish before I go to bed then they wake me up meowing to be let outside my room around 3ish. I let them out my room to roam freely then go back to bed myself.
Anonymous: the cat needs to roam the area outside, it wont stop meowing until it is let out.
if the cat is let out, then it will get parasites into its paws and bring them home infesting the human and the human will then spread the parasites to other people. these parasites arent harmless, they can cause death or worse than death destroy the humans brain cells and make mentally retarded. there are tv-reports about it with experts speaking warnings about it, i have added one video about it below. *
if its ok to put other peoples life on risk to have a cat, let the cat out and in back again, im sayin because cat-lovers cant be told otherwise but for a normal human beeing the only solution would be to give the cat to the next animal shelter, because once letting the cat out it will force its way back in again.
the alternative would be to have a kitten that has never roamed outside and doesnt know outside to want to be let out, when that kitten is then brought to the vet and is proven parasite-free, it should be ok to have that cat at home, as long it never wants to go outside. i adore cats since i can remember and that would be the only secure way to have a cat.
