Update:
She is family, our companion, and the vet says she is healthy.
Answer
Casey:
She's extremely old. she's probably becoming senile and loosing control
of her bowls. It might be time to talk to the vet about having her put
down. Unfortunately, there's nothing you can really do to fix the
problem.
Jack:
how long has
it been since her last vet visit?
A cat that has suddenly become
hyperthyroid can lose control like that.
Best to call the vet on Monday
and get her seen. Senior bloodwork may provide a clue as to what is
going on.
