I've spoken to the owners, I've spoken with animal control, animal control won't do anything unless it actually bites us.
We are afraid to come out the house. Is there anything I can leave out for him that will kill him that if they take him to the vet it won't be detected.
I love animals, but this dog is just evil. Please help, and please no rude reply

Sabrina:
Killing the dog is not the right course of action. This sets a bad example for your children and could get you in serious trouble with the law.
There wouldn't be a good way to kill the dog without risking children or other animals in the area, and since you already complained about the dog, you would automatically be a suspect.
Call the police. If animal control won't help you, find someone who will. Having a loose dog chasing your children and terrorizing you on your property is irresponsible dog ownership and should violate local leash laws.
If the police redirect you to animal control, explain your situation, voice your concerns, and don't be afraid to get angry and emotional. If you make a scene, someone will be more likely to listen to you.

Actually if the dog comes into your yard you CAN have it removed by
animal control. Just catch it and detain it in your yard when it comes
over.
That is what animal control is for. Otherwise, you could catch it
and take it to the shelter. Is this dog really "dangerous"? Has it
attacked or run after your children?
Teach your children not to run from
dogs. If they are close to an area that they can get away, then ok, if
not then they shouldn't run. That just makes them bait for an aggressive
dog. They have to fight the dog if it attacks.
And if they get hold of
an arm or leg to shove it further into the dog's mouth and lock their
jaws so that they can't bite down further. Bang their head against the
ground. Running from a dog is one of the worst things you can do.
Never
take your eyes off of a dog. Even the nicest of dogs may attack when
they lose eye contact. Don't stare, but don't look away either.
Pandora:
Your neighbor is the problem- ask them to put out an electric wire on
the fence. The dog is not the problem...someone made the dog that way -
chances are-- they will just get another JUST AS WILD. a simple wire
under the fence or in the ground will deter the dog awayGO after the
assholes that made the dog that way--- not the dog.
Something isn't
right there...The battery for the wire doesn't cost much and are a
handy thieft preventive also......
Amber:
Call animal control again. Tell them either they do something or you will and it certainty would not be in the dog's favor.
If they won't do anything then call the cops and ask for them to come out due to breaking the leash law and trespassing.
Don't kill the dog; if it's traced back to you at all you could loose your children due to being a danger.
Whisper:
Don't ever do this. There is a family who this dog belongs to. Never ever attempt to kill an animal, my cat was shot as someone tried to kill her, she made it several months but died from complications later, and our hearts were broken.
We cried for weeks and our hearts cannot be mended from the loss we suffered from people like you who want to kill animals. If you have a real problem, contact the owners.
It also sets a bad example for your children. Imagine if they were to get a pet dog which they loved and cared for.
Now imagine that dog disappearing from their lives, and they're too young to understand, or worse, they know exactly what happened.
Contact the owner and animal control, or even the SPCA to do something
Daniel:
You don't need to sneak your way and kill the dog. If you do it, you are commiting a crime.
If this dog is truly agressive, and going into your property without your consent, and you talked with the owner about this, you can put the dog down yourself for trespassing in certain states.
Note that you will have to shoot it clean if you don't want to be charged with animal cruelty.
Mr.Tims:
1.it is absolutely NOT the dog it's the owners so the dog in a way is evil but through is the owners.
2.you do not want to kill a dog,the risks of finding out you did it is very highly.
3.what did the owners say? did you tell them you have kids? threaten them tell them that if they don't keep their dog on a leash you are going to call animal control{ do they know you called animal control?
Whatever you do do not kill the dog
