Getting over my kittens death.?

Hi about 2 days ago I woke up one morning to the sound of my house phone my mother went to pick it up and after about 5 seconds I heard her sobbing and crying I got straight up to see what had happen and she told me our kitten had been hit by a car. After she said that I just felt... Horrible she was only 9 months old and always wanted to go out she had been out for the past 2 days but to know she died at such a young age just makes me feel even worse if any of you have any tips on helping me and my mother get over this I would really appreciate it.

Marnie:
In future don't let kittens go outside, they're too young to know how to stay safe... At least not without an older cat to teach them... Just like you wouldn't let a baby out on its own. Just learn from it

i had to put my oldest cat down in 2015 just before August and it hurts so much and people say atleast shes stopped suffering and i cry still and my sister took the death worse as they were super close so i made her a little homemade teddy and after sticking a needle into my finger the pain kinda eased itself away.

so maybe a small or big craft/project in memory of ur kitten. i suggest mayb a long project as starting the teddy over again and again and again the pain eased itself out and it still hurts but in a different way. i can now smile about her. hope helps and sorry xx hope it gets easier xx

Kacie:
Dont be sad!! She's in a happier place so dont feel sad for her. I know how hard it is but just try to get your mind on other things. Hope this helped! :) Sorry for your loss :(

Norman:
You'll forget about it eventually. Then it'll come back to you when you least expect it and sadness will wash over you and there won't be any barriers to stop it.
