how can i stop my cat from going into other peoples houses?

Elaine: Keep him home INSIDE. Or you'll find 'your' cat will be someone else's cat with vet bills paid by them and you have no more connection to him.
Jhon M: Don't leave your cat out. I would let mine out and they came home without a collar. They even lost a flea color that want break away but it was cut short at the buckle.
EW: Stop letting him out if the house without surpervising him or keeping him on a leash. Or attach a note to him informing people that he has a home already.

YOU MIGHT find she won't come back ask your neighbours and tell them you have a cat so they won't take her in.
