Answer
Belgian Nut:
Very little progress on the first class. And we don't know if you're taking a puppy kindergarten class from a knowledgeable instructor or going to some Petsmart class.
We can't possibly know what they're going to teach or how many puppies are allowed in the class. All questions you should have asked when you registered.
If its a puppy class taught by a real instructor, you'll learn things like basic manners and the very beginnings of basic obedience.
Of course its up to you to spend time training each and every day or you've thrown all your money away and are just wasting time.
The classes are only to teach YOU how to train and to provide correct socializing for your puppy.
Knight:
Unless it's had all it's shots including rabies it won't be allowed in class.
Ask the people giving the class.
Puppies are individuals and learn at different rates, your responsibility to enforce what was taught in class on the daily basis for the life of the dog, 12-17 years, otherwise why waste your money on the class.
It's you that is being trained on how to train your dog.
Kaycee:
All dog classes vary but I assume he won't learn everything right away.
Teaching animals takes patience and you have to keep at it. He might
understand things easier by the end, but will most likely just learn how
to listen.
Dorothy:
You
will be taught how to train your puppy. However he won't make any
progress unless you practice what you are taught EVERY DAY.
