How much should a siberian husky/Alaskan malamute weigh at 6 months?

Ask: I have a 6 months old siberian husky and Alaskan malamute puppy (apollo) and was wondering how much he s supposed to weigh.

Currently he weighs between 45 and 50 pounds (and taller than my full grown Australian shepherd and pit bull mix (chance).

He s not over weight, because he looks skinny to me. He constantly runs around and plays with my cat and other dog. Is this about the average weight for him?

Answer

CDogs:
He's a mix, so there is no "average." Sounds like he'll be closer to the Husky size, though. Being slim is pretty normal for a young Husky (they can be picky eaters), and it's great he's getting a lot of exercise.
