I
got one year and half year old cat and a 9 month old kitten and they
run around at night like crazy chasing eachother . When will this stop?
Answer
Maria:
Hi! Most of them start to calm down at the age of 2, sometimes 3. It
might be hard but enjoy this stage! I have a 9 year old cat in surgery
right now and would love him to be as playful. The grass is always
greener on the other side :). Enjoy your kitties!
Laura:
When they are senior cats, in about 10 years or so, but it really
depends on the cat. My cat, who is 19, only slowed down in the lase few
years. At 15 he still acted like he did when he was 4.
Julie:
It depends on the cat and breeds. Our Ocicat has been bouncing off the
walls lately. He acts more like he's 13 weeks old than the 13 years old
he really is.
Pamela:
Never, I have a 15 year old cat, he still goes nuts over his toys and dashes round the room!
Jay:
They usually don't stop, depending on their breed, before you get MORE
kittens, look up the breed. But usually around 4-6 because thats when
their bones start thinner and they have no energy and don't really eat
much food,
