I am fourteen and my family wants me to solely take care of Ella, since she is my dog. She jumps on my family, and I've tried so many things. I hit her nose, my Dad suggested that (I didn't want to do that anymore), I ignored her, she just jumped on me from behind which was very painful, and I hit her butt.
She just started doing this thing where she rolls on the ground like a kitten and bites my feet! She is a very smart dog, who learned how to sit and shake in two days. Please help!!

Don't hit. There is lots of information and training videos on the web. I suggest you get onto a class, PetSmart has a good program.
What my vet showed me to do with a dog that jumps is take a step back, holding my hands up at shoulder height and say "off" firmly then praise as soon as the dog has all four feet down.
When you step back the dog will automatically drop to all fours, you hold your hands up so you are not touching the dog with them as it will focus on the touch and you praise as soon as the dog is in the right position.
This can take time and it helps if everyone who has contact with the dog does it.
Be sure any training you do is POSITIVE (look up positive dog training). And remember that a little training every day goes a long way.

You should try and find a dog training centre/classes around your area, using the internet. I believe a dog can be taught right from wrong, sometimes help from professionals is needed.

Keep treats in your pocket only give her a small amount of the treat like a small bisquit made for dogs, when she does a good thing, never hit your animals.
Training is to have lots of patients and lots of consistantcy everyday.. Be loving and helpful in the learning process for your dog
Narissa:
Stop hitting her first of all. You're just asking for problems. Look up KikoPup on youtube, she has a lot of training how to videos.
