As any cat owner will tell you, cats
love cardboard boxes. Buy them a new bed and they’ll sleep in the
cardboard box it came from. Buy them a new scratching post and they’ll
shred the cardboard box instead. Why? Because cats are hard-wired to be ungrateful.
However, if you want to trick your cat
into appreciating something for once then buy them one of these
cardboard landmark play houses. They’re made by Poopy Cat, a design
company based in Amsterdam, and they’re currently looking for funding on
Kickstarter.
The houses come in seven designs including the Eiffel
Tower, the Taj Mahal, and The White House. They’re also made from
recycled cardboard and they’re double-layered for extra durability. And
as you can see from these pictures, your cat will love them. After all,
not even a cat can resist the chance to spend a night in the
presidential palace…although it’ll probably still shred it afterwards.
