I have an 8 week old female Aussie/Pyrenees mix puppy. She's very smart & listens to our commands when treats are involved, but no matter how many times we try to properly correct her, she won't stop biting us or barking. When she's biting us we try to calming tell her no (or say "Ch!" Like Cesar Millan, or mimicking a puppy yelp of pain) & replacing whichever body part she bit with a toy. The trouble is that she's smart enough to know that we are holding the toy & she goes for our hands. She doesn't seem to understand this command & we've been dealing with this for 2 weeks now. She also won't start barking with ANY command. I just don't know what to do.

She's only 8 weeks old it takes time.Training doesn't all happen so young. Make training fun for your puppy and let it be a dog. Be consistent and she will stop and grow out of it a bit. I've noticed many pyrenees are not toy driven dogs as well. And they bark like mad! They're letting you know what's going on as a guardian breed.
That's a tough one I would do some research or consult a trainer as I haven't had many barking issues. Best I've got is do something that makes her bark and try to encourage calm quiet behaviour and reward it. Practice it often and it could become a habit? I've actually had to completely ignore a puppy biting before, future schutzund dog, and it hurt like hell but within 2 weeks she just quit. Consistency! She's young you need to be patient. Have fun with your new puppy!

A whole two weeks! You don't say!
Training requires a lot of patience, consistency, diligence, and time, minimum 6-18 months.
Then if it doesn't work out seek professional help for yourself on how to train a dog properly.

She's only 8 weeks old. Training doesn't happen overnight. Keep at it. Herding dogs are nippier than most puppies, so it may take longer.

She needs more exercise and you should NOT use your hands to play with her, stick to distance toys so she doesn't connect 'hands' with 'toys'.
